While it may not be the type of revenue associated with a box office hit, it does signify that consumers want to consume content on their terms. Does it mean the end to the box office, not by any means, but it does mean change is on the horizon.

When it comes to followings there are several YouTube stars that have a bigger social impact than some people in Hollywood. Which explains why E! picked up a show from YouTube Star Grace Helbig. If networks are looking towards YouTube for new talent, it signifies that viewers habits are changing. Gone are the days of simply someone having a pretty face. It is more about who can bring a large social engagement audience along with them.

Anytime you watch a video on YouTube, you may have noticed you get a list of other videos to watch. YouTube makes these video suggestions based on content you are currently watching. If you create ample video content, your videos about your business can be discovered when others search for related terms on the products and services that you offer.
