John J. Nosal serves as Digital Marketing Manager at Advice Interactive Group. His area of focus in managing the digital and web assets for the company’s brands, including Local Site Submit and Rocks Digital. John shares his expertise by writing, speaking and podcasting on all things digital.

Prior to joining Advice Interactive Group, John provided Website Design, Search Engine Optimization (SEO) Internet Marketing and Consulting Services for clients through his independent consultancy, NosalCentral, LLC. As an Internet Geek, he recognized early on the need of small to medium sized businesses in Website Design, Search Engine Optimization (SEO) and Internet Marketing.

He is active in the Search Engine Optimization (SEO) community. As co-organizer of the Dallas Interactive Marketing & Internet SEO/SEM Meetup, John has the opportunity to develop relationships and learn from others. He influences the SEO practices used by others today.

John’s experience includes working for Adobe Systems (formerly Macromedia) where he served in a technical role supporting website development tools (Adobe Dreamweaver, Adobe Fireworks, Flash and FreeHand).

With more than 25 years in the Publishing, Internet Software and Marketing industry John’s calling to start his own business was acted upon with the downturn in the housing industry where John was working as the Marketing and Graphic Manager.

John’s interest in computers and need for finding better ways to accomplish tasks was a driving factor for him to leverage new technology and tools like the Macintosh Computer in the 80’s.

At the 2015 Rocks Digital Marketing Conference, Justin Liles will be participating in not one, but two very important sessions. On June 29th Justin will be one of the “Tech Talkers” on the Geek Chat Panel, moderated by Tony Cecala. Following up on June 30th he’ll be dropping more knowledge bombs as one of the panelists on the Rocks Digital Marketing Q & A Expert Marketing closing on the 2nd day of the conferences.

Justin comes to us from  Advice Interactive Group where he is the Senior Vice President of Local Search and leads a team of more than 300 people. In this position, Justin has overseen the submission of more than 1 million business listings to directory sites through Local Site Submit, an Advice Technology.

When Justin began his career in Internet marketing in May 2009 selling online visibility services and  quickly learned how businesses were placed on the major search engines as well as the best ways to help them dominate their local search area.

Justin started with Advice, as a contractor through his company, working in the trenches handling the set up and optimization of Google Local business listings. In November 2011 Justin’s company was acquired by Advice Interactive Group allowing Justin the ability to move up through the ranks to his current Senior VP position.  With degrees from Temple University, University of San Francisco and Full Sail University, he is well versed in sound business practices and all facets of Internet marketing.

When he is not “incognito” with search and local SEO, you can find him practicing martial arts, hanging at the closest beach or spending time with the people he loves.
